WHO WE ARE...
The Central Vermont HOG Chapter was established in 1988 with seven charter members. Today we have over 400 members and our numbers continue to grow with every meeting. With members from all across Vermont--and some from eastern New York, western New Hampshire, and northern Massachusetts--we are a diverse group. Our members cover the gamut from the young to young-at-heart... those lucky retired folks who are always up for a mid-week ride. We also run the spectrum from A-Z (well, almost "Z") as far as careers and interests are concerned.  We've got auto mechanics, nurses, bike mechanics, bankers, business owners, teachers, consultants, machinists, policemen, fire fighters, construction workers, and lots, lots more. There are members who ride as passengers while others are lucky enough to own two or more Harley-Davidsons. Some members have ridden for years and others are enjoying their first year on their first machine. What binds us together is that all of us enjoy the company of others who share our love of riding and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

We are a family-oriented organization with many children joining their parents in club activities. It's not uncommon to find a former director and his wife out for one of our Sunday breakfast rides, each on their own bike and each with one of their children nestled in behind them. Some of these young people are even full fledged members of our chapter, just itching until they can own and ride their own bikes.

We are also a very active chapter. If you look at the schedule section of our site you will see that we have lots of group rides and other activities planned for the coming season. These include Sunday "breakfast rides"  as well as destination rides throughout the weeks and months of our north-country riding season.

If you think you'd like to be a part of our group, we'd love to have you.  Send us an email in care of our sponsoring dealership (Wilkins Harley-Davidson in Barre -- see links page) or drop by Wilkins and say hi. Or better yet, come by Wilkins at 7:00 on the second Tuesday of any month and see what our monthly meetings are like. We think you'll like what you see.
